The forcast this weekend says we are going to reach 50 degrees and this is giving us some serious Spring Fever! The warm weather is making us declare that it is almost Family Picture Time!! Last year we set up specific dates and locations for clients to meet us at and it turned out to be a huge success! So, we are going to do that again this year. Below you will find our 2011 Spring and Summer schedule. Each photo shoot will be 45 minute to 1 hour. We will start each day at 10:00 am and our last photo shoot will be at 3:00 pm. Our 2011 Fall and Winter schedule will come out mid-summer.

May 15th Norenberg Gardens, Minnetonka

June 5th- Ritter Farm Park, Lakeville

June 26th- Wayzata Beach, Wayzata

July 17th- Stone Arch Bridge, Minneapolis

The cost for these photo shoots is $150. This includes a CD of all your images in high resolution. Please email Tamara to schedule your next family photo shoot.

Ringeisen Photography will continue to offer on-site locations of your choice. These dates will be limited as we have weddings and other engagements during the summer and fall months. If you would like us to come to your house or a location of your choice, the cost will be $200.

Happy New Year! We were very busy at the end of 2010 capturing all our amazing clients for their holiday cards. We are so lucky to have clients that call us each year to do their photos. It is so fun to watch the little babies turn into toddlers and the toddlers turn into big kids! We did 92 family photo shoots and 3 weddings in 2010!

We started 2011 by taking pictures of a beautiful baby boy.

Our list of wonderful clients is definitely blooming this spring and to accommodate everyone's photo requests, we have decided to try something different for the 2010 summer and fall seasons. We have chosen some of our client's favorite photo locations to be at on a variety of days. Photo shoots will be scheduled each hour starting at 10:00am and ending at 4:00pm at the given location. These special photo sessions will be booked on a first come, first serve basis. We will contiue to charge $100 for these photo shoots which includes all your pictures on a photo CD with unlimited reprinting rights. Below you will find the dates and locations where we will be.

So sorry that we have not posted anything lately. I have been enjoying my time as a stay at home mom and editing photos, answering emails, scheduling photo shoots while my little man sleeps and plays in his jumper. I PROMISE that I will post a picture or two of all the photo shoots we have done since August. Since Douglas was born, we have taken 28 family photo shoots, 1 engagement session and 3 weddings. So the blog has been neglected a bit.

I will start by posting some pictures from our 3 weddings. We had so much fun capturing these weddings. Each one was completely different from the other. That is what we love about doing weddings. We enjoy each one for how unique they are. We did a wedding that had 10 attendants on each side, and one that only had one attendant on each side. The one thing I will say is they all had a ton of love in the air.

Our first wedding was a month after Douglas was born. We were honored to capture Michelle and Lucas' wedding. They are very dear friends of ours. We all went to college together, but it was not until our engagment party in 2004 that they started dating. They chose the beautiful Semple Mansion for their wedding and reception. It was such a great evening with awesome food, great laughs and wonderful friends and family.

Ellie and Dennis had such a fun and beautiful wedding. They had all their friends and family standing right by their side. Ellie was one of the most excited brides that I have met. She had a huge smile on her face the whole day. The night ended with a huge party, it was perfect!

We headed to St. Cloud to take photos of Lisa and Corey. They are the sweetest couple ever. They are true sole mates. I just loved the intimacy of their wedding. They had all their family with them to celebrate their special day.

Kylie is 1!! Happy Birthday!

We have had so much fun taking Kylie's pictures. She is such a cutie! We waited out the rain and then headed to the Stone Arch Bridge. I just love the urban look! My favorite part of taking her pictures is to see what amazing outfits Natalie has for her. Happy 1st birthday Kylie!!!

Bennett, Gina and Andy

Gina, Andy and Bennett headed to the cites from St. Cloud to get their family pictures taken. We went to Minnehaha Falls and it was the perfect day to be there. It had just rained and the falls were perfect. Bennett is full of personality and so easy to take pictures of.

The Bergs

It is always fun to take pictures of my sister and her family. We usually have Doug bring his camera to her house or my parent's house and hope to get some cute shots of the kids. This time we decided to head to Norenberg Gardens and I am so happy that we did. It was a perfect morning and we got some of the best pictures of my adorable niece and nephew!!

Thaden is 9 months!!

We headed to the beach to take Thaden's 9 month pictures. It was the perfect location. We have taken his pictures every three months and he is alway perfect! He is full of smiles and his big blue eyes are amazing!

Kristen and Joe are married!!

Doug and I had such a wonderful weekend with Kristen and Joe. They had a beautiful sunset wedding on Friday night with their family at Joe's family cabin. There was so much love in the air. Kristen could not stop smiling- she was just beaming all day. On Saturday, they had their reception at the Fortune Bay Casino. It was such a fun party! We were so happy to be part of this special weekend!

Doug and I have been so lucky to have been so busy with photo shoots all summer long. This has caused me to be WAY behind on our blog!! Here are some of our photo shoots that we took in July.

The Adrian's

We were so excited to go back to the home of Jan and Joe and take pictures of their whole family! All of their daughters we in town so it was the perfect opportunity to take some family pictures at their amazing home on White Bear Lake. It was a perfect morning!

The Winter's

Doug and I always love to take pictures of our friend's families. It is always so laid back and filled with laughs. We went to the Winter's house and were thrilled to see all the great spots to take pictures. The prairie grass was in full bloom and the dirt road next to their house was perfect!

Happy 1st Birthday Jaiden!

Jaiden was so fun to take pictures of. His eyes were so intense and he made the cutest facial expressions. We all walked around the Sculpture Gardens and took a ton of pictures. My favorite one is the one on the top left where we told them to sit on the grass and just play with Jaiden! I think it is the perfect shot of their cute family!

The Klinkhammer's

We met the Klinkhammer's at their house and took a little road trip to a park by the Mississippi River. It was the perfect location. It also makes it super easy when the the whole family is so photogenic! It was such a fun early afternoon!!

It was so fun to come back to the Berling's house and see how big the twins have gotten. Last time we saw them was in Decemeber and they were crawling, now they are running everywhere!! Addison was as cute as always! I love how she always has the biggest smile on her face and is a huge help with the twins. It was also fun to get some pictures with their cousins who were in town for a visit.

We had so much fun taking pictures at Kai's Backyard Barnyard Birthday! They rented a petting zoo to come to their house and the children could not have been more excited to see all the animals when they showed up in the backyard! There was chickens, a pony, a lama, sheep, ducks, bunnies and a huge barn dog. Kai had to give all the animals a hug before they left. It was a party that he will never forget!

At the end of the photo shoot the three oldest girls ended up in the water fall and they were soaked from head to toe! They had so much fun, and so did we!!

We took Allie and Jackson's pictures about 6 months ago and we were so excited to come back and take them again. We had the perfect morning and Allie and Jackson were so adorable! I love the picture of Allie, Jackson and Trooper. We told Allie to go sit by Jackson and Trooper and she sat down, hugged Jackson and put a huge smile on her face. We all knew that it was going to turn out great!! You also have to love Jackson's serious face in the bottom right- what a ham!

Happy Spring!

Spring is here and summer is right around the corner. It is a great time to get outside and get some great family pictures after being cooped up all winter long. Our summer calendar is filling up fast, so if you want to take advantage of the bright flowers, sun shine and green grass, please email me to set up your family photo shoot!

Here is some more exciting news. We are expecting our first child at the end of September! We know that October and November are very busy for us with holiday pictures. With a newborn at home, we will be having a limited amount of weekends that we will be having photo shoots. If you are interested in getting pictures taken in October or November, please let us know as soon as possible so we can get you on our schedule.

The Kral Family

It is always a treat to take pictures for the Kral's! Shannon is one of my very best friends from college. She and her beautiful family live by St. Cloud, so we love to make a day of it. Miss Alexia was born in January, so we had to take some pictures for her birth announcements. We also got some amazing family photos. I love the one where they are all looking at Alexia!

We had a blast with Rudy and Ella. We started in their basement where Rudy has a swing, an amazing playroom and fun kids music playing on the ipod. She was so easy to photgraph. Ella was also all smiles. She loves to have her tongue out, which made the pictures so cute! After we took some great pictures of the girls, their cousins showed up to take some pictures of the whole family for their Grandma. We got some great group pictures, and I think that colors are so amazing!! It was so fun to meet such an amazing family!

Happy 18 months Gavin! We did our first outdoor winter photo shoot with our niece and nephew, Mackenzie and Gavin. I think that they turned out so cute. I just love the colors and how cute they are in their hat and mittens. We also took some inside of Gavin doing his favorite things at Nana and Papa's, playing on the pool table and with his train set.

Doug and I took a little trip to Harris to take pictures of baby Thaden. When we got there he was a bit tired. We put him in his crib and he instantly feel asleep, so we let him take a little snooze while Doug took some pictures of him. Then we did what always wakes babies up....we took some pictures of him in just his diaper. Babies love to be naked! He had great eyes and was a very happy little guy.

As many of you have noticed.....I am VERY behind on our blog. Doug and I have spent every weekend, and every evening getting all of our client's pictures edited and ready to deliver. I have also created a lot of Christmas Cards for our clients this year. I will be adding collages from all of our photo shoots starting this week. If you can believe it.....we have taken 14 families and 1 engagement session since I updated my blog! Wow, we are so lucky to have such wonderful clients! Doug and I met Nate and Fran at a party at my parents house. We also spent a day with them on the lake on my parents boat. We were thrilled when they wanted us to come to their house and take pictures of their adorable family! Jayda and Maya were little models! They smiled the whole time and loved the camera. Little Nate had a bit of a tough afternoon, he got hurt about 3 times in the 45 minutes that we were there. He would just shake it off and continue to run around and we definitely captured some cute shots of him.

The rain and wind stopped just in time for us to capture this absolutely beautiful family. We took Wyatt's pictures last month and we were very excited to come back and take some family pictures this month. I am so in love with Wyatt's hair! He is just a doll. Look at this adorable family! As many of you know, this is Kai! This little man is the funniest and smartest 2 year old I know! For those of you that do not know Kai, this is the little guy that I nanny for. Doug and I took Kai, Linz and Haig's pictures last Thursday night. I told Kai before his nap that, "When you wake up from your nap, Doug will be here to take your pictures"...so when he woke up, the first thing he said was, "Tam, where's Doug-a?" As you can see in the pictures, Kai loves when Doug-a takes his pictures. I just love his HUGE smile in many of the pictures.

Another beautiful fall photo shoot! We met Crisy, Scott, Kylee and Gabrielle at Minnehaha Falls. Crisy picked out the most adorable outfits for the girls.....you have to love the hat!! We started off by letting the girls run around and play in the leaves, they had a blast! Then we headed toward the falls, and Kylee and Gabrielle brought Doug on a hike up to the top of a rocky hill side. These girls had the cutest personalities, as you can see in the photos!

We were very excited to see Heather, Chris and Issac last Sunday. We met them last May when we did their pictures before they moved to Canada. They were home for week and wanted to get some more family pictures taken. It was so much fun because Heather invited her sister's and their families along to get some individual family pictures taken and some as a whole group. We met at Wayzata Beach and the weather and sunlight was perfect! I made collages for each of families, and of them as a whole.

We spent a beautiful fall day at Minnehaha Falls with Maureen, Mike, their daughter's Nisa and Gina and their families. The weather turned out perfect and the trees were amazing. Doug and I have not been there for pictures before and we were very excited to see how great of a place it is! I love the family pictures by the falls and the picture of all the grand kids. This family was very adorable and so it made our job VERY easy!

To think that four years ago, Doug took his first baby picture.....wow! We have come a long way! As many of you know, Mackenzie is our beautiful God daughter! She has brought so much joy to us. She has taught Doug all about what little girls are made of!! We had such a great time at her birthday party! If you can believe it, there were 50....yes I said...50 people there!!!! The kids had a blast in the bouncy castle, while all the adults watched! Of course, Doug was there to capture all the fun!! I attached a collage that I made for Shelly. I love the little picture on top. This was taken when all the kids were singing Happy Birthday to Mackenzie. I truly think this picture is priceless! Auntie and Doug love you so much!

Baby Olivia

We were very excited to take Olivia's pictures......she was an absolute doll! She is only two weeks old. When we arrived she was asleep in her bassinet. Doug got just a few pictures of her sleeping, then she woke up. Mom timed it just right, Olivia was wide awake for the whole photo shoot and she was very aware of the camera! It was amazing!

Doug and I meet Jen and Kraig at Life Time after work and we headed to The Arboretum in Chanhassen. We had one hour before sundown to conquer what felt like over 100 acres of land......needless to say we did not get to all of it. Jen and Kraig were so fun to take pictures of. Doug and I woke up bright and early to take the Krings Family Photos. We went to the Sculpture Garden in Mpls. It turned out perfectly because we were the only people there. Mason was full of smiles and he the happiest when he got to stand on a stool to look over the brick sculpture. It was fun for Doug and I because it was 2 years ago when we were in Jake and Mandi's wedding taking pictures at the Sculpture Gardens. After the photo shoot they dropped Mason off and we all headed on Lake Minnetonka to go on my parents boat. It was a perfect day!

Doug and I were very excited to take the Gauthier's pictures! Nisa has referred us to all of her friends and family! We are so thankful for all her kind words! We headed to the Coon Rapids Dam for their pictures. It was a perfect spot with a trail, water and a great bridge. Nisa found this spot while on a walk. Todd and Tina had a perfect day for a wedding. They got married and had their reception on a boat on the Mississippi. We had so much fun driving around with them in their limo and taking pictures at Stone Arch. The wedding party was a blast and Todd and Tina were so adorable! The weather held up until it was time for the boat to launch. It did not matter, the day was amazing!

Doug and I did a double photo shoot- one for my mom and one for my sister. We all got dressed up and did a big family picture and then we did Shelly's family after. My brother-in-law is running the TC marathon, and he found a great walking path by their house to take the pictures. I love the pictures of Mackenzie and Gavin with Nanna and Papa and I love the bright colors that Shelly picked out. It was a fun morning.

Our nephew turned one on August 3rd! WOW! Times flies! We are so lucky to have Mackenzie and Gavin in our lives! It is so fun seeing them grow up. Doug captured him eating his birthday cake. It was so CUTE! He loved it! He is so different from Mackenzie, she did not like her cake at all. If we would have let him, he would have eat the whole thing!!

We took some pictures of the Tietz family. When we showed up Jacob told us that he was the only person that could make his sister laugh and smile. He was right! You can tell she just loves him. When we were leaving, he took out his camera when Doug put his away, and sure enough she was all smiles. So cute!!

Laughter and love filled the air at Krista and Brad's wedding. Doug and I were driving to the wedding and it was raining very heavily. We were so bummed because it was supposed to be an outdoor wedding. Once we got there, the rain was gone and it became a beautiful day. Doug and I were so happy to be with them on their big day!!

The Prose Family

Last weekend Doug and I enjoyed an afternoon with the Prose family. We had a blast visiting them in St. Cloud and playing with Bennett at Munsinger Garden and The Splash Park. I think that the colors are absolutely amazing. Andy, Gina and Bennett all have the most beautiful blue eyes and they stood out with their bright colors on. Gina picked out the amazing colors, the sun was perfect and we spent most of the afternoon laughing-what great combo for a perfect photo shoot. Gina, thanks for letting us capture Mr. B! He is a doll!

Grandma's 1/2 Marathon

Doug and I ran Grandma's 1/2 Marathon for a second year in a row. We had a wonderful weekend in Duluth! We arrived on Friday evening to pick up our race packets and eat our spaghetti dinner. We went to Old Chicago with our friends who were also running. Andrea and Andy ran the full 26.2 miles and Doug, Joe and I all ran the 1/2. Heather was our cheerleader!

We ate some carbs and had a beer (or two) to relax.

Then it was time to wake up and get ready for our race. We woke up at 4:00am to make sure to catch the bus at 5. This is at 6am. We are getting ready to start the race!!!

We both finished and it was such a perfect morning for the race!!

After a long race and a fun day, it was time to celebrate. We headed to Grandma's and the Big Top Tent to see live music.

We woke up on Sunday and decided to head out to Canal Park and take some photos of Duluth.

The Weber Family

We met the Weber family at the beach in Prior Lake. It was so fun to see them again. We did their family photo's last December and Jack has grown so much in 6 months. It was a lot of fun to take their pictures in the sand and by the water. Check out his adorable smile!

We spent the afternoon with some of our friends, Karen and Chad. We started at Lake Calhoun because that is where Chad grew up and then we headed to the Stone Arch Bridge. We had such a blast! We had to make a pit stop and take some pictures in front of Chad's bar by his childhood house, Al's. We are looking forward to taking their wedding pictures in September!

Doug and I had a great afternoon with the Fabozzi's. Doug did his first photo shoot in a trampoline. The two oldest daughters are gymnasts, so they loved showing us all of their moves. The youngest daughter was only 6 weeks old, and she loved the camera. She would just stare at Doug and the camera.

Last Sunday Doug and I took engagement pictures of Ashley and Eddie. I met Ashley at a play class that I take Kai to. She is also a nanny so we became instant friends. We have play dates with the kids once a week and have become great friends. We went to Lake Calhoun to take their pictures and they turned out wonderful! We were very lucky that we got there in time because later that day, HUGE storms came through the Twin Cities. After our photo shoot, and before the storm, we all went to Stella's Fish Cafe in Uptown and sat on the roof and had a late lunch and a few drinks! It was a great time!

The Aud Family

Last Sunday, Doug and I took pictures of the Aud family. It was a very sunny morning, but a bit cold. We took pictures outside and in. Issac was such a cute little guy. He loved the rocks and was so easy to take pictures of. They are such a nice family and we had so much fun getting to know them. Doug and I love black and white pictures, but in many of their pictures, we enjoyed the colored pictures just as much as b&w pictures. They had on great colors and the sun really make the green in the leaves stand out.

Last Sunday, Doug and I were so excited to celebrate his Grandma's 85th birthday with her. We had a great time hanging out with her and visiting with our family. Of course, I made Doug take out his camera and we got some great pictures of Grandma and her family. It has been a long time since we have taken a family picture, so we thought that it would be fun to get one as we were all together.

Saturday brought a beautiful sunny day and a chance for Doug and I to take Todd and Tina's engagement pictures. We arrived at their house to take their pictures and we were thrilled at what a beautiful backyard they had. There were tons of trees, a water fountain and a huge wooded pond. We had so much fun with Todd and Tina. They are such wonderful people who spend a lot of time making each other laugh-which made taking pictures of them so easy!! Doug and I had a wonderful afternoon last Saturday with our friends Amelia, Chris and their new baby girl, Lila. She was such a perfect baby, we might have a model on our hands. She loved the camera and we got great shots of all of her cute facial expressions. Doug also learned a few things that day. Chris made us a pot of coffee with beans that he roasted himself. This was very cool to learn about. The coffee was great and now Doug wants to roast his own coffee beans some day.

Cole Joseph Tousignant

Our youngest client! Cole was only 15 hours old when Doug and I were so proud and privileged to capture the first day of his life! Cole's dad, Joe, and Doug were both born at the same hospital that Cole was born at. Actually, Doug and Joe were born the same day (Nov. 1st) and their mothers were roommates in the hospital. It was not until 9th grade when Doug told his parents that he was going to the Tousignants to see his friend Joe, that Doug's mom asked him his Joe's mom was Joanne? This is when they realized that they were born the same day and their mom's were roommates in the hospital. Doug and Joe have remained the best of friends since. Holly (Joe's wife) and I have had many fun times together as well. We are so thrilled for them and so happy that we got to share this day with them!

Mackenzie and Gavin

To think that Mackenzie was our first customer, and now she is getting so big. We love taking pictures of our niece Mackenzie and our nephew Gavin. Gavin is now 6 month old and Mackenzie turned 3 in September. My favorite pictures of Mackenzie is when she is laughing. She has such an adorable laugh and it really brings out her cute smile. Last weekend, Doug and I also had a photo shoot for the another family. When we walked in the door, we knew that the pictures were going to turn out fabulous. The two girls were full of energy and they had the most adorable white dresses on. Their house was filed with the most amazing natural light and they had a great fireplace. Doug and I had so much fun with these girls. They had so much personality and it really showed in their pictures.

Last weekend Doug and I took pictures of Addison and of her twin siblings. The twins are only 2 1/2 months old and they were amazing with the camera, they were PERFECT!! Doug and I still laugh because we were there for one hour and it took until the last 5 minutes to get a picture of them both crying. You will see below how it happened!! Addison was so adorable too. I love the pictures of her with her American Girl Doll.

Bar Mitzvah

Doug and I took pictures at a Bar Mitvah party on March 10th. It was a great night. We started by taking family photos and then we took pictures during the party. It was a really great party for the kids. They had a casino night set up for them in the basement. I work for this family two nights a week, I tutor and nanny for them. They have 3 older children and triplet 2 year olds. These kids are so neat. I have added some pictures of the family.
